  25. I suggest downloading PortInfo from our home page at
  26. http://comminfo.com. PortInfo is a diagnostic program designed
  27. specicially to sort out port setup problems and to detect modems.

  29. IRQ settings on the modem are typically controlled by jumpers or
  30. switches - but the first step is to determine what ports you have and
  31. what IRQs are being used. Then you can set the jumpers to an available
  32. port and IRQ.
